The Safety app simplifies safety management on construction sites by centralizing essential data like worker safety status, equipment compliance, and incident reports. It enables project managers and contractors to easily access and manage safety-related information.

Problem
Challenges in Managing Safety Documentation on Construction Sites
Construction sites traditionally rely on manual processes or multiple systems to track safety documentation and compliance, making it challenging for managers to access and update critical data quickly.

Streamlined Safety Management with Mobile Access
The Safety app enables efficient safety management on construction sites, allowing users to manage documentation, report hazards, and ensure compliance directly from the field, leading to faster responses and improved safety oversight.
Design Process
📚 Research
I conducted in-depth research on the construction industry, analyzing workflows and safety management processes. This included interviewing site managers, project leads, and safety inspectors to understand their pain points and needs in managing safety.
📋 UX Strategy & IA
Based on the research, I developed a user-centered Information Architecture (IA) and content strategy that would make safety-related data easily accessible for users on-site.
👩💻 UI Design
Designed a mobile-first user interface with a focus on usability and efficiency. The design system was created to ensure consistency across all screens, enabling users to access key safety features and documentation quickly.
📦 Handoff to Development
I worked closely with the development team during the implementation phase, providing detailed design specifications and ensuring that the app was delivered smoothly.
