Modernizing Candidate Matching
I joined this project to redesign an outdated recruitment system that relied on Excel spreadsheets with minimal filtering. My goal was to replace it with a smart, intuitive web-based interface that would empower recruiters to match candidates to jobs quickly and confidently.

Problem
Outdated Workflow Hindering Efficiency
Recruiters relied on cumbersome Excel spreadsheets with limited filtering and no UX structure, making the hiring process slow and frustrating.

Solution
From Complexity to Clarity – UX Grounded in Real User Needs
Through research and analysis, I identified key pain points such as inefficient navigation, lack of filtering, and visual clutter. The result is a clean, focused UX that simplifies the hiring process and supports the needs of both technical and non-technical users.
Design Process
📚 Research & Discovery
I interviewed recruiters to understand their workflows and pain points, then benchmarked competitor tools to identify UX opportunities.
📋 UX Strategy & Information Architecture
I built a clear structure tailored to recruiters’ needs – from job posting to candidate review – with a strong focus on reducing friction and decision fatigue.
👩💻 UI Design
I developed a minimalist design system with visual hierarchy and smart filtering, allowing users to focus on what matters most: finding the right match.
✅ Iteration & Testing
After presenting early mockups to recruiters, I implemented key changes based on real feedback, especially around filter behavior and candidate visibility.
📦 Developer Collaboration
I supported the implementation phase with detailed specs and close communication with developers to ensure the final product matched the vision.
The new platform reduced time-to-match by streamlining recruiter workflows. Feedback from stakeholders highlighted improved clarity, fewer manual steps, and faster decision-making.
